Advanced optical performance
The SL-M6 incorporates a Galilean microscope system with five selectable magnification steps, allowing clinicians to easily switch between overview and detailed inspection.
Its apochromatic optical design helps reduce chromatic aberrations, improving image clarity and contrast. Combined with the wide binocular field and excellent depth of focus, this allows for precise examination of the cornea, anterior chamber, iris and lens.
The convergent binocular eyepieces are designed to support comfortable, fatigue-free observation during extended clinical use.
LED illumination system
The slit lamp uses a long-lasting LED illumination system that delivers bright and uniform lighting across the slit beam.
The LED source provides a colour temperature similar to halogen illumination, ensuring natural tissue appearance while benefiting from the efficiency and longevity of LED technology.
This results in sharp, homogeneous illumination that supports detailed clinical assessment.
Upgrade options
The SL-M6 can be expanded to support advanced imaging and dry eye analysis, allowing practices to enhance diagnostic capabilities as needed.
easyCam™ Digital Camera Unit
The easyCam digital camera enables the SL-M6 to be converted into a photographic slit lamp system. Features include:
