Romanes Occluders are currently unavailable as they are being redesigned to a Class I Medical Device. The CE mark will be removed, but it will retain its UKCA mark enabling it to be sold into UK and other markets that accept a UKCA marking. We expect them to be available again towards the end of 2025.

This simple all purpose occluder is a useful trial case accessory. Although used primarily as an occluder it may also be used for a simple assessment of visual acuity and for the cover test.
 
One side of the occluder has a scale graduated in mm for inter-pupillary distance measurements and for proptosis.
 
The printing on the surface may be used as a near visual acuity target.
