We are pleased to announce our appointment as the exclusive UK distributor for the Mediworks AL551 Automatic Optical Biometer, a new generation biometry and corneal topography platform designed to support modern myopia management and contact lens practice.

The AL551 combines Optical Low-Coherence Reflectometry (OLCR) axial biometry with Placido-disc corneal topography in a single automated device, enabling clinicians to obtain comprehensive ocular measurements in one streamlined capture. The system provides axial length tracking, AL/CR ratio analysis, keratometry and corneal mapping, supporting clinical decision-making for myopia monitoring, orthokeratology and anterior segment assessment.

Visitors will be able to see the AL551 in action for the first time in the UK at 100% Optical, where Grafton Optical will be offering live demonstrations throughout the exhibition.
