World-class ophthalmic OCT and imaging solutions available from 1st January 2026
Grafton Optical, which successfully introduced the Optovue OCT platform to the UK market following its original launch, is delighted to announce a new strategic partnership with Visionix, the global innovator in eye care diagnostics.
From 1st January 2026, Grafton Optical will serve as the exclusive distributor across the UK and Ireland for Visionix’s advanced imaging Optovue devices: Optovue SOLIX, Optovue iVue 80 and Optovue Autofusion.
This collaboration brings together two industry-leading organisations committed to enabling eyecare professionals with best-in-class diagnostic solutions that improve patient outcomes, streamline clinical workflows and support the delivery of exceptional care.
Optovue SOLIX - FullRange® OCT imaging, tailored to your clinical needs
The Optovue SOLIX platform is available in two configurations, allowing practices and clinics to choose the level of functionality best suited to their clinical requirements: SOLIX Essential and SOLIX Expert.
Both models utilise ultra-fast spectral-domain OCT technology to deliver wide, deep, high-density imaging without compromising resolution. FullRange® anterior imaging captures the entire anterior chamber in a single scan, while advanced corneal and epithelial thickness mapping supports detailed corneal assessment and longitudinal monitoring. Optional OCT-based corneal topography is available on both SOLIX Essential and SOLIX Expert, enabling comprehensive evaluation of anterior and posterior corneal surfaces within the same OCT workflow.
Optovue SOLIX Essential - OCT & fundus imaging
Optovue SOLIX Essential delivers high-resolution spectral-domain OCT with FullRange® imaging of both the anterior and posterior segments, combined with an integrated fundus camera for internal and external colour imaging. It provides a detailed structural assessment of the retina, optic nerve, cornea and anterior chamber, supporting confident diagnosis and efficient day-to-day clinical workflows.
Optovue SOLIX Expert - OCT with OCT-Angiography
Building on the capabilities of SOLIX Essential, Optovue SOLIX Expert adds advanced OCT-angiography (OCT-A) for non-invasive visualisation and analysis of retinal and choroidal vasculature. High-density scanning, 3D vessel rendering and quantitative vascular metrics support comprehensive evaluation of retinal disease, including complex and highly myopic cases.
Optovue iVue 80 - compact, reliable OCT imaging
The Optovue iVue OCT is a compact spectral-domain OCT system delivering high-resolution retinal, optic nerve and anterior segment imaging in a space-saving design. It provides reliable structural assessment to support routine diagnosis and monitoring of common ocular conditions.
Fast scan acquisition and dedicated analysis tools support efficient evaluation of the macula, optic nerve head and retinal nerve fibre layer, with intuitive reports for clinical decision-making. Optional anterior segment imaging expands clinical capability, while the compact, adaptable footprint and simple operation make iVue well-suited to busy practices and smaller consulting rooms.
AVAILABLE FROM FEBRUARY 2026
Optovue Autofusion – automated OCT & fundus imaging in one system
The Optovue Autofusion is an all-in-one diagnostic platform combining high-resolution, non-contact OCT with an integrated high-resolution fundus camera to deliver comprehensive anterior and posterior segment imaging.
Designed for efficiency, Autofusion features one-tap automated alignment, focus, tracking and image capture, enabling fast and consistent acquisition with minimal operator input. The system supports macular, optic nerve head and RNFL analysis, as well as anterior segment and corneal assessment, with clear, intuitive reports to aid clinical decision-making. By simplifying advanced imaging and enabling easy delegation, Optovue Autofusion is ideally suited to busy practices seeking reliable OCT and fundus imaging with streamlined workflow and reduced complexity.
